As I said on Friday, Hubby and I took a 4-day weekend to celebrate our anniversary and his birthday. As lovely and relaxing as the weekend was, I always find it more difficult to get back in the swing of things coming off of a long weekend, and it is even worse when there are two long weekends in a row. :-)
That is not to say I wasn’t productive yesterday–I managed to clean the house, bake a batch of breakfast muffins (Yum!), and wash, dry, and fold 4 loads of laundry. In between, I wrote 3,411 words toward my Camp NaNoWriMo novel. Heck, I even managed to squeeze a shower in there!
Not bad for a day’s work. Still, the only reason I got so much done was because if I didn’t keep moving, I was going to spend the day sleeping. :-) Instead, I walked around looking something like this :
